The first quarter moon arrives approximately seven days after the new moon. It is a time when we can reflect on the seeds and intentions we set during the new moon and revisit any resistance we may have toward these intentions to allow growth to occur. This brief meditation is a simple way to use the breath to release any feelings of resistance and helps allow what is meant to flow, flow. Its benefits are best experienced two days before and two days after the First Quarter Moon phase - but please work with it however feels best for you. Before beginning your practice, please consult a medical professional to see if meditation is right for you. This meditation should never replace any medication nor be used as a replacement for professional medical health.
