Instead of driving straight up to Cornwall we visit the English Riviera also known as Torquay and make stops in an authentic fishing village Padstow and English countryside history in Cockington. Devon has beautiful beaches in England but it also has Torquay, known as the English Riviera. And you can imagine why. When you visit Torquay and walk around you will see palm trees and a beautiful promenade. Of course if the traditional English weather wasn't around, it would have looked even more beautiful. 5 Miles from Torquay you will find Cockington, a beautiful English old authentic village. A must visit when you are on your way to Cornwall from London. Before reaching South Cornwall, we make another stop in a traditional authentic fishing village, Padstow. A town in Cornwall that offers beaches and an old town centre.
