Worker stabbed in back outside Ballard Food Bank

A worker from the Ballard Food Bank is recovering after being stabbed in the back on Monday. Officers were called at 10:28 a.m. to the 1400 block of Northwest Leary Way, where a 35-year-old man was found at the entrance to the food bank, suffering from a stab wound to the back. Police provided aid until Seattle Fire Department crews arrived and took the victim to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
