Nikon Zf vs Fujifilm X-E5 — Which One Actually Feels Like an Everyday Camera? As a long-time Nikon photographer turned Fujifilm shooter, I’m trying the Nikon Zf as an everyday carry camera. In this video I compare it to the Fujifilm X-E5 and, by extension the X-T series, from a real-world street photography perspective. In this video I cover: • Why the Zf both nails and misses the vintage Fm2 / Fm3a vibe • Why the X-E5 succeeds as a “simple camera” even with fewer dials • Build quality, materials, and how each body will age • Nikon’s complex AF and menu design vs. Fuji’s simplicity • My thoughts on the Zf’s flip-out screen and video direction All Nikon shots are captured with the Nikkor 40mm f/2.8.
