Hokkaido, July is early summer deep in the mountains. We finished our mountain ladyfish fishing trip, and went right to the most labor-intensive part of the trip, targeting mountain rainbows! We spent a lot of time on this trip. Size, power, beauty, and wilding powerful rainbows are the most exciting and my favorite genre of fish. The beauty of the water, mountains, forests, valleys, and mountain streams are exceptional and clean, yet strongly stimulating. It's the genre that gets me most excited about the fear, the beauty, and the excitement of fishing! The excitement is not the most important thing as trout fishing........ This season, we are challenging new points and areas. The distance to travel deep into the mountains is quite long, and it is a physical challenge, but it is a fishing trip that I prefer, half fishing and half outdoors. It is exciting just to imagine people entering the untouched valleys of the northern lands, which have remained unchanged, and it is addictive. My expectations for the trout in the valley were also high. And they didn't disappoint! I have already researched new areas and mountain streams with great fishing results, and I can't wait to visit them again. ・・・・ I am going to make it my agenda for next season.
