This is something I have wanted and planned to do for as long as I can remember, and I'm still finding it hard to process the fact that it's actually happened. Of course, I knew from the very start that I wanted to document the ENTIRE process, from initial consultations, to surgery, recovery, cast removal, and my final (current) thoughts, 3 weeks later. Another thing I wanted to show was a haul of everything I bought to prepare for the surgery and recovery period, because it is definitely a painful recovery! The surgery I had was a septo-rhinoplasty, and the main focus was to improve my breathing, because I (apparently) had a deviated septum without realising for 21 years??? This surgery (and other nose surgeries) can take up to a year to fully heal, and for final results to show, so I really need to be patient, because it takes TIME!
