Hello and welcome to Local Marks Fishing!! Thankyou for checking out the channel!! There are a few rules that apply to all who join in the live chats so I'd like to mention them here so as to save any embarrassment or offence to anyone! Please read on so that you can decide if the channel is for you or if it's not really something you'd be into. Topics that cause division amongst the people have been barred from the channel. Things like Politics and religion are obvious ones but there are less obvious ones! Due to the upset caused during a couple of live shows it has been deemed necessary to prevent talk of football during the live chats. This came about after local team supporters begun to argue amongst themselves and things got quite heated on a couple of occasions. It's not nice to see folk who would otherwise be friends fighting over the previous topics. It's just nice if everyone enjoys the fishing and chat without being divided. There are more obvious ones like Swearing, inuendo and/or racism. For me it's important to personally display the best of the English language whilst putting out content on this global platform for the world to see and so I won't use foul language and I ask that others refrain from doing the same. I'd like the world to see the best of our language as they watch and read the live chat logs and the channels existing subscribers and members are a testament to such decency. The channel is set to 18 years or over. This doesn't mean that only 18 year olds or over watch the uploads! Even though most of the filming is done after the UK watershed the channel is global. It's well known on the channel that children are watching whilst accompanied by their parents due to the channel being a family show. The channel is set to 18 to prevent youngsters getting into the chat as they may not be capable of interacting correctly or understanding some of the topics covered. Children do create fake accounts to get onto the internet though hence it's asked that children are accompanied by an adult if they are watching! Slow mode is set during a live show. This means it takes 40 seconds to post each comment. This gives me a chance to keep up with comments and gives everyone a fair chance to get a reply when things are busy! Channels less than a month old are deleted due to the ability of trolling accounts to be created at the drop of a hat and then used to cause disruption during live events. Folk often ask "Where are You?" Locations are not given out for safety reasons. A lot of the ruling is just down to being a decent human being and using a bit of common sense when interacting with the other amazing folk on the channel.
