This is my own camera I bought with my own money :) In Part 1 - we did a deep dive into specs and everything on the outside. In (THIS) Part 2 - we take a deep dive through its menu system, and all the settings. In Part 3 - we will dive into rigging out Komodo with accessories I currently have. Tommy Ribs, external monitor, etc. In Part 4 - we will go through RED Workflow on OS X. From R3D files to working in Final Cut Pro X. My Komodo is a pre-(mass)-production model. Limited edition Storm Trooper white (there's about 1000-1300 in the wild). It is 100% finalized production ready hardware with BETA firmware/software. Currently works only with some EF lenses through RF to EF adapter. But will fully support Canon RF lenses in the near future. Komodo should be officially out within a month or two (End of October or in November of 2020) and should cost about $6,000. Komodo is a 6K digital CINEMA camera, with GLOBAL SHUTTER! Records videos in RED RAW (R3D) format internally to a to CFast 2.0 cards. It has an RF Lens mount Capacitive Touch Screen at the top Is very small (4" cube weighing about 2 pounds) Accepts Canon BP-9 series (955 and 975) batteries and can run 3.5 hours on two 955s RED Color Science and REAL RAW file format Extremely tough (though not weather sealed) WiFi connectivity, remote control, etc. and more (watch the video) :-) If you want me to answer any questions in the future videos, please let me know. Enjoy!
