Our Ferry Ride to Greece 🇬🇷 First Day in Rhodes 🌊 Cave Exploring & Greek Food

Join us on an early morning adventure as we leave Turkey and take a 6.5-hour ferry ride to the beautiful island of Rhodes, Greece! 🇬🇷⛴️ From luggage mishaps to cave exploring and golden hour by the Mediterranean Sea, this travel day was full of surprises. ✨ Highlights from the Day: 00:00:45 🌅 Early Morning Ferry Rush – We wake up at 6:30 AM to catch our ferry from Turkey to Rhodes with all our luggage! 00:01:37 ⛴️ Making It Just in Time – Picking up our ferry tickets and getting through security with minutes to spare. 00:02:05 😅 Luggage Struggles – We almost didn't make this trip! Walking with all our bags was harder than expected. 00:02:48 🚢 Setting Sail to Greece – We're officially on the ferry and heading to Rhodes! 00:03:27 🕐 1.5 Hours Later – Finally arriving in Rhodes, Greece after a long but beautiful journey. 00:03:40 🛂 Customs & Taxi Drama – Getting through passport control and deciding between a taxi and another long walk. 00:04:42 🏨 Back at Our Favorite Hotel – We return to Saint Mitchell, the same place we stayed last time in Rhodes! 00:05:14 🍽️ Greek Brunch at Castelo – Stopping for an amazing meal with moussaka, Greek lasagna, and grilled cheese. 00:06:35 🍦 Dessert Time – Maitland finds her perfect Snickers-flavored ice cream! 00:07:26 🏰 Exploring Rhodes Old Town – Walking through the historic castle ruins and ancient streets. 00:08:15 👗 Dress Shopping Success – Maitland finds the perfect flowy Greek dress for €25! 00:09:49 🌊 Golden Hour at the Sea – We make it to the Mediterranean just in time for sunset. 00:10:17 ⛪ Cave of Archangel Michael – Discovering a hidden cave shrine tucked into the cliffs. 00:11:13 🍝 Italian Dinner Night – Ending the day with spaghetti, salmon fettuccine, and crème brûlée. 00:12:37 🚕 Taxi Ride Home – Too tired to walk back, we grab a taxi and head to the hotel with James's takeout. What an incredible first day back in Greece! From the ferry journey to exploring ancient ruins and enjoying delicious food, Rhodes welcomed us with open arms.
