Drawing on more than 45 years of experience, our competence center in Augsburg, Germany develops, assembles and tests mtu gas generator sets for customers all over the world. Our units cover ratings ranging from 750 to 2,500 kWel for both 50 and 60 Hz frequencies. Whether fueled by natural gas or a biogas, mtu gas gensets provide reliable, continuous, economical and environmentally friendly power for heating as well as cooling. The systems are also hydrogen ready. Our Augsburg facility is equipped to test H2-operated engines. Key components include the gas engine, generator and automation systems, optionally, also a heat recovery unit. Our exhaust gas aftertreatment systems are designed to ensure clean energy , reducing emissions by up to 90%. Our commitment also includes customized service offerings designed to maximize system uptime and performance. For operators and service personnel wanting to maintain their own equipment, we offer a variety of courses at our Service Training Center in Augsburg.
