Gaismagorm Vs. Adrenaline Hammer - ガイアデルム ハンマーソロ 【サンブレイク】

I bet 80% of the people who will watch this had completely forgotten Gaismagorm even exists lmao I really am mad though that Hazard Gaismagorm didn't happen, like yeah sure he's not a mind blowing fight by any means, but he remains such wasted potential with such a unique body ; the Hazard version could've capitalised on new patterns like Lunagaron and Lucent while removing the ballista phases. So many of Gaismagorm's moves have awkward endlag that could've easily been reworked to combo better and faster into each other for a Hazard version. In general Gaismagorm is a really odd story final boss. It's completely mistreated, and not very frightening at all when you encounter it, because the broken ass Elgado armada was kinda just ready already to deal with it and it got destroyed. It's a departure from the usual "you have to deal with this alone because you're epic" scenarios that the final bosses of the series generally send you to. I guess that, arguably, the true threat of Gaismagorm wasn't it itself, but rather the Qurio, since they are actually the constant threat and antagonist of Sunbreak. I love how at 1:36, after staggering it out of two of its strongest attacks twice in a row Gaismagorm kind of just walks back scared because it doesn't know how to deal with me anymore already. In the second phase I could've probably shoved off a few seconds if I attacked its hanging arm during the dragon beam attack, but while Hammer's vertical reach is good, it's not that good, so I hesitated and eventually waited for it to come down at ground level. Well anyways, it was still fun to revisit him again, it's been a while and, like I said, it's easy to forget poor Gaismagorm.
