This song reminds me of growing up and going to punk shows. Back in 1993 or so, Yuri and I tried to go see the Dead Milkmen at the OK Hotel in Seattle, Washington. We were so excited to sing along to Big Lizard in my Backyard and Bitchin Camaro but as we reached the front of the line we were turned away. The door guy yelled - SOLD OUT! We could just make out the sound of the first band kicking off as we walked away. And so we headed back. It was a lonely ferry ride across the Puget Sound that night. Back home to Bremerton. This song reminds me of that first experience getting turned away from a sold out show.
