This is an interview by Canadian Military Historian, Norm Christie of Ted Leja, son of Walter Leja in which he describes events of May 17,1963 and its effects on his family and how that date changed everything forever. Walter Leja, a winner of the George Medal for his bravery, on that date, he had successfully dismantled 2 bombs located in mailboxes around Westmount but the third bomb in that mailbox exploded and he was badly wounded and spent moths in hospital. He survived and spent a majority of his remaining life in St Anne's Military Hospital. He passed away 1992 at the age of 71. Norm Christie is a member of the King & Empire Foundation.
