Bedford Autodrome - SW Circuit Evening Session...DISASTER - Code Brown!!! - 28 06 21

Special one this time! First time on an evening event for a quick test of the latest rounds of mods and tune. Not a long session this time (you'll find out why toward the end of the video) with this being of of the of the better laps. Excellent conditions, it'd been raining all day and stopped only an hour or so before the session so a wet/drying slowly track led to brilliant fun. Bedford is such a good track for these kind of conditions. The car felt fast after the latest upgrades but we're pushing the limit of the stock engine... which of course led it to blow up at 125mph on the back straight!!! Thankfully it happened on the straight with nothing in front of me meaning only a 180 spin and onto the grass. The engine seizing locked the diff (I didn't dip the clutch quick enough as I was more concerned about the car pulling me to the right with the potential of hitting the grass bank at a rapid speed) causing me to spin after the correction. A quick fire due to the oil everywhere and a missing side skirt on the drivers side from sliding across the grass at over 100 mph but luckily no further damage or injury. Not sure my boss (the passenger) has recovered fully yet though, first and last track time think :( If anyone on the day happened to find my side skirt let me know, reward available :) Forge engine it is then.
