Vehicle: 1998 Saturn SL2 This has been going on for a while, every time I make a tight turn there would be some major rubbing noises coming from the front of my car. After some research, multiple trips back and forth to my car, and experimentation... this is what I found. Apparently it is a common issue when brakes are serviced. when the caliper is removed the rubber brake lined gets twisted and instead of being safely tucked behind the strut, it is out where the tire can rub against it while in a tight turn. quick and easy fix to this is shown in this video. remove the caliper and twist until it is positioned behind the strut.
