Bringing some heat to the dance floor! In this video, I combine the smoky tones of the trumpet with the elegance of a classic Foxtrot to the timeless song, "Fever." Whether you’re here for the brass or the ballroom, I hope this performance gives you "fever" in the best way possible. Did you know "Fever" wasn't originally a jazz standard? The Original: It was first recorded in 1956 by R&B singer Little Willie John. His version was more of a rhythmic blues track. The Transformation: It became a global phenomenon in 1958 when Peggy Lee slowed it down, added the iconic finger snaps, and rewrote some of the lyrics (adding the verses about Romeo & Juliet and Captain Smith & Pocahontas). Since then, it has been covered by everyone from Elvis Presley to Beyoncé, cementing its place as one of the most covered songs in music history If you enjoyed this fusion of music and movement, please Like, Subscribe, and let me know in the comments: Which version of "Fever" is your all-time favorite? #michaelbuble #fever #trumpetcover #foxtrot #ballroomdance #jazztrumpet #peggylee #elvispresley #dancecover #instrumentaljazzmusic #musicanddance #shukiwolfus
