Photographing the colours and ambience of the Hexriver valley is possible once or mostly twice per year. When snow falls on the mountains and the colours of the vineyards are at its peak is he two conditions that have to happen simultaneously. When one gets it right you can capture some of the most awesome landscapes in the Western Cape. Besides the season and colours that have to match the colours of the vineyards are busy loosing saturation and variety in colors due to new farming practices and within a few years one will only have a brownish yellow color of all the vineyards in the fall.
