Gigantomachy was a Black Metal band from Bergen. There were two members: C. Corax - Guitar and drum programming. C. Corax was also part of Taake at the time. He went to prison after a stabbing, became a Christian, married and have not played Black Metal since then. He occasionally plays worship music every now and then, however. Serpentor - Bass, vocals and lyrics. Serpentor was not involved in other Black Metal band, but have played in some other non Black Metal bands in genres like Psychobilly. Nowadays he is a devoted family man and dabbles in urban farming. Their music can be described as a cross between Rebel Extravaganza era Satyricon and Thorns on their self titled album. In other words, we are working with some flavour of industrial-tinged Black Metal. They released a three-track demo called "Kindle the Maiden" on a CD-r in 2003. The demo was recorded at Gigantomachy's home studio (called Cobra Island) and mastered by Eirik "Pytten" Hundvin in Grieghallen Lydstudio Track list for the demo: 01. Callous Creator 02. The Soil 03. Persecuter "The Soil" was also featured on the split (along with the track "Earthbound") with Taake which I will upload separately. I have stashed the demo away somewhere, so I haven't got a scan of the cover. The picture is one I generated using AI. It might be lazy, but it is something to rest ones eyes upon. I don't own the rights to this music, though I do know Serpentor personally and he has allowed me to publish their demo on my private SoundCloud page. I figure that YouTube is more available to people, so I have elected to upload it here. Video made in: https://vizzy.io
