My friends died for nothing.” Those are really poignant words. To see this country moving toward Communism, athletes taking a knee during National Anthem and statues being ripped down is highly offensive to many. It shouldn’t be allowed and they should go to jail. (FYI I have a feeling he had a couple Buds before he filmed this, but it’s what he’s been holding in for a long time. The Christopher Columbus statue coming down was a breaking point. Before anyone gets offended: I may not agree with everything he says or how he says it, but my husband is exercising his first amendment right to free speech. Every year during the month of May he hangs up all of the flags and banners for Memorial Day in town, with pictures of the veterans. He is very proud to do this because he knew many of these veterans and sat for hours and listened to their stories. He loves and respects these men and wants to make sure that what he calls “the greatest generation that ever lived” is not forgotten. This is a man that goes to the cemetery every single day of his life. He does not want to see history be erased or these great men to be forgotten."
