Easter long weekend, less than a week before the northern end of Kosciuszko national park is closed for feral animal control. Sarah and I hiked into long plain to spend a few nights camping and playing with cameras. I recently bought a 100-400mm lens and enjoy taking photos of animals. After many bikepacking trips seeing the brumbies take over the plains, I really wanted to get some nice photos of the brumbies before their numbers are reduced. I've spent a fair amount of time in these areas and have seen the damage the brumbies do to the landscape, I have no issues with the numbers being reduced. Saying that the horses are a beautiful animal and look gorgeous in photos. I had a great time photographing them. / timmeh500 / advanture.st
