In this video, we install the Snow Performance Stage 1 Water Methanol Injection kit into the Mk5 VW Jetta Wolfsburg 2.0T TSI and take it out for a rip. The pump sprays a recommended 50/50 mix of distilled water and methanol into the engine right before the throttle body. It uses an adjustable boost switch to activate the pump at a selectable boost pressure. This cools down the boost air temperature and exhaust gas temperature. It also significantly increases the octane of the fuel which reduces the potential for detonation. This is perfect for any turbocharged engine making more than stock power.
