Track 4 from their self-titled debut album released in 1980 copyright Columbia Records. It was recorded at Little Mountain Sound in Vancouver. The band was formed by guitarist Paul Dean, drummer Matt Frenette and lead vocalist Mike Reno. Dean and Frenette had met in 1977 and joined the band Streetheart from Regina the same year. Dean left Streetheart after their first album in 1978 to begin forming Loverboy and Frenette followed after Streetheart's second album was released in 1979. Mike Reno had formerly been in the band Moxy, when he was known as Mike Rynoski and appeared on their album "Under the Lights". Keyboardist Doug Johnson and bassist Scott Smith were added to complete the band's lineup. Their first gig was as the opening act for Kiss at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. The album received above average reviews and reached No. 17 in Canada, No. 13 in the U.S., No. 12 in New Zealand and No. 5 in Australia. It eventually achieved 2X Platinum status in the U.S. and 5X Platinum status in Canada. Recorded from the original vinyl.
