However, since Morrowind NPCs only ever use a few select spells, I decided not to clutter up the overlays by listing all of them. Duke Vedam Dren and Ruccia Conician know spells that will either heal their opponent (Great Heal Companion) or blind their caster (Blind). In combat, they will spam these spells up until their death and lose almost every fight without getting a single hit in! To give these characters a fighting chance, I decided to remove these spells from their spell lists. Tholer Saryoni has a powerful summoning spell that can drastically impact the outcome of a fight. To demonstrate this, this video shows two of his matches against an Ordinator, the second having a surprising twist at the end. Varus Vantinius has both Chrysamere and Lord's Mail equipped, as would be the case in game if the player completes the Imperial Legion questline.
