Today, we met with Korean War veterans.

Hello. This is a message from the Mission Possible Team. When we went out and met a few of our Korean War veterans, we could feel they were finding the whole interview awkward. Eventually, however, they started to open up to us, and they genuinely appreciated the small gifts we had prepared for them. That really made us emotional, happy, and sorry about not doing more when we could do more. One of the war heroes we met said she only wears a white blouse with black pants. Another said this was the first time he ever got flowers from someone else, and that he never knew a day like this would happen. All with a broad smile on his face. He said he wanted to use the photo he took today for his funeral one day. We all still remember. What does the Korean War mean to us? We hope we can remember what the Korean War meant and what it still means, rather than treating it as a mere event in the history books.
