1) Yes, as someone will have read from the title last June 5th, that is two days ago, it was the release anniversary of that masterpiece which is The Truman Show (1998) by Peter Weir and June 1st instead that of the premiere. Both the anniversaries concern the USA anyway because that's where the film came out in the days just mentioned. I hope that some of the subscribers here on the channel have not seen the film because in case I highly recommend it. Anyway this is the third piece or the third part of the four total pieces that I have prepared in honor of the film. So it's kind of my tribute to the film. The first one was Truman Sleeps (here • Truman Sleeps - Philip Glass (Happy The Tr... . I should upload the other piece I thin in two-three days maximum. In this sense, I invite you to subscribe to the channel or in any case to write down my nickname if anyone is interested in this tribute. So maybe, even if you don't subscribe, you can still go back to the channel to see the rest of the tribute, if you are interested in it. Then I think I dedicate the tribute to two people. First of all to my high school history and philosophy professor, the great Massimo Cappuccio, who was the one who made me discover the film several years ago during my high school years. Basically, since he was also a teacher of philosophy, he was and is a person totally different from the crowd, and consequently he also had teaching methods different from all those of the other teachers. And among these methods there was also the one that provided for the fact that sometimes it led me and my class to see, in a special classroom in the school, films of either a historical or philosophical nature to be integrated into normal lessons. or in any case, I would say this more, perhaps to make certain historical or philosophical themes better understood and in a more beautiful way. Here. And The Truman Show in this sense was obviously included among the philosophical themed films. Anyone who has seen the film knows perfectly well that perhaps most of all it is a philosophical film. Yes, I believe that the film has marked me anyway, then I also saw it other times after that first viewing at school. Truly a masterpiece and with a superb soundtrack. And then I dedicate the piece, as well as the whole tribute, perhaps even to a dear acquaintance of mine with whom I attended the courses of my degree course in Philosophy a few years ago and who among other things was the very first person I met there: Anna. I also dedicate it to her because if I remember correctly The Truman Show is a film very dear to her, after all, since we did the same course of study I know why it is very dear to her, given the nature of the film, which as already said first it is purely philosophical. Finally I also add that perhaps of the four pieces that I prepared in this tribute Truman Sleeps I think it's the most beautiful, I feel it in me in a particular way, and therefore I wanted to leave it for last, but I wanted to respect the chronological order in which the tracks are inserted in the film. But yes, I wanted to clarify the fact that in general I think that of the four pieces that is the most beautiful for me, but I think it is also a bit objective because I think everyone likes it more, also considering the numbers performers of the piece. 2) From a technical point of view, however, there are various versions in this video. There's the version with the room reverb and the other with the maximum reverb or what I also call "deep dream", because that maximum reverb, added by me through an external program and with the great rumble effect that it creates seems to put us in contact with a very deep dimension of the dream, precisely a dream at a very deep level. Then there is a total of three sounds. The firs is withh Piano + Strings, the original instrumens of thetrack; the second with Strings; the last with the sound CP80, one of my favorite sounds from my keyboard, I practically always play, that is, of every piece I usually load I always insert a version with this sound as well. This is because it is a sound that in general I have been using for a long time and that I then started to use even more after my instrumental interpretation of Julee Cruise became my most viewed interpretation (here in the case you're interested). 00:00 Piano + Strings, Normal/Room Reverb; 02:40 Warm Pad + Strings, the same; 05:15 CP80, the same; 07:46 Piano + Strings, Maximum Reverb/Deep Dream vers; 10:27 Warm Pad + Strings, the same; 13:03 CP80, thesame #thetrumanshow #wojciechkilar #fatherkolbespreaching
