Today we'll be taking a look at the Boat Buckle Pro Series Quick Lock Gun Wall Tie Down Strap, part number IMF17636. The Boat Buckle Quick Lock Gun Wall Strap offers superior strength and security for your boat. It simply secures your trailers anchor points. It comes over the top of your boat, and the quick lock buckle tightens it down. The strap itself is made of a seat belt quality polyester webbing, with a maximum load limit of 1200 pounds, and a safe working load limit of 400 pounds. It features a hook and loop strap keeper so we can tie up our excess strap, a sure grip rubber coated boat buckle, and underneath it all we have a pad to protect our boat's finish. For protection for our boat's trailer, the s hooks are vinyl coated. They also have a spring loaded gate so the hooks won't come undone. The straps dimensions are 16 foot long by 2 inches wide, so we can ensure it's going to fit a wide variety of boats and boat trailers. Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. First thing we need to do is fasten the hooks on either end securely around our boat. We'll take one of our hooks and we're going to attach it to our trailer's anchor point right here. If you don't have an anchor point, you can pick up the boat buckle mounting brackets, part number IMF14254. Then I'll take my buckle and my strap and set it midway in the boat so I can reach it on the other end. I'm just going to bring my strap down and attach my hook to the exact same spot that I had it on the other side. It's important to make sure that we don't have any twists or any kinks in the strap. Perfect. We'll come back over to the other side of the boat, and we're going to pull on the free end of the strap. We'll make sure that our buckle is open, as you see here, and we'll tighten that down. We'll pull on it nice and snug. We'll make sure that the guard and the hook and loop is open up underneath. All right, then we can close up that buckle. Tidy up our excess strap. We'll bring our hook and loop over. And there you have it. Now as you can see, it's nice and tight, and we can rest assured our boat's not coming off our trailer. Please keep in mind you always want to use these with a transom tie down. These right here are part number IMF08893. And a winch, this one's part number FT21000301. That's going to complete our look at the Boat Buckle Pro Series Quick Lock Gun Wall Tie Down Strap, part number IMF17636.
