Parker Autoclave Engineers is proud to introduce our SM Series Medium Pressure Needle Valve for Hydrogen Service. Using their HYG in high cycle hydrogen option, the following certifications have been obtained. Standard EC79 for on vehicle use up to 10,000 PSI or 700 bars and ISO 19880-3 for hydrogen fueling station applications, up to 14,000 PSI or 963 bars per ISO specifications. Designed for even higher pressures of up to 20,000 PSI using the Parker autoclave Engineers medium pressure cone and thread connection, these valves are available in sizes from a quarter inch to 1 1/2 inches and can be used on both gases and liquid hydrogen applications down to -423°F or -253°C. 316 stainless steel construction is standard and optional materials based on customer requirements are available. Thousands of manual and actuated needle valves along with relief valves, check valves, and filters have been supplied for hydrogen use for decades.
