From the Wednesday morning March 19, 2025, meeting of The Forum inside Cascade Hall on the campus of Colorado Mesa University Montrose. The Forum welcomes Susan Barrientos, Executive Director, Montrose County Housing Authority, and Matt Miles, of Leadership Circle, LLC. Subsidized vs. Affordable Housing. What is the current picture in Montrose? Susan will give general information about what the Montrose County Housing Authority does plus an update on new properties and how MCHA is involved with those. She will describe subsidized housing and what the qualifications are. Matt will talk about the cost of current housing and introduce us to the various options available.
