Alyse has made a response to the shock collar debate, and she just justifies her use saying people just “lack understand” of how e-collars work. Lucky for us, Drew (her boyfriend) kindly explains in his video how they work, and they work by causing the dog pain (who knew?!). The collar is a tool to force a dog into submission by force and fear. Drew also brags in the video how his Rottweiler is aggressive and has bitten people. This aggression is probably the result of his training style. Drew’s dog is a great example of why shock collars are bad. I went ahead and added the countries that have banned e-collars again and this time also a list of veterinary associations around the the world that advocate against the use of e-collars.
