Overdrive Pedal Shootout - JHS vs Strymon vs Fender Battle Here's a quick comparison of the Strymon Sunset, the JHS Moonshine, and the Fender Yngwie Malmsteen overdrive pedals. I use an overdrive pedal into an already slightly overdriven Marshall tube (valve if you're British) amp. I want a kind of classic overdriven sound that screams at the same time. Soft but aggressive. Something that's not a distortion. These pedals do slightly different things, but all of them are capable of giving me roughly the sound I want. And sound is the deal breaker. So which sounds best?
