This week on TestDrive James gets to spend a week with the 2025 Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe, the replacement to the C-Class and E-Class Coupé as Nile discussed a few months ago when he drove the non-AMG version. With an as-tested price just north of $100,000 CAD, this two-door sports car is pricey, but comes with a lot of extra options. James goes over some of the tech specs and features before hitting the road on his Test Drive. He discusses the overall drive, ride, and performance of the CLE 53 AMG, along with how this coupe has been for him over the week. He drove the closest competitor, the 2025 BMW M440i xDrive Coupe a few months back which is a good comparison when shopping in this segment, with the 4 Series being a bit smaller than this. After his drive, James talks about some of the exterior features and design of the new CLE-Class, along with the optional extras added on to this press car. He also goes over the rear seat space and overall interior comfort before wrapping up his review.
