#ww2 #ww2history #ww2hiddenfiles On January 27, 1945, a single B-29 Superfortress flew into the most violent air battle any bomber crew would face in the Pacific War. Outnumbered, crippled, and flying on one engine, B-29 “Aquare 52” was attacked by more than 40 Japanese fighters over Tokyo. Two enemy aircraft deliberately rammed the bomber. Systems failed. Ammunition ran out. Crew members were killed and wounded. And yet—against all odds—the crew fought back. By the end of one mission, Aquare 52 had destroyed 14 Japanese fighters, survived two ramming attacks, flown 1,500 miles on a single engine, and brought 10 men home alive. It remains the highest confirmed fighter-kill total for any bomber on a single mission in the Pacific Theater. This is not a movie. This is not propaganda. This is a true story of endurance, skill, and raw human determination at 30,000 feet. If stories like this matter to you— please hit LIKE so YouTube shows it to more people.
