"Dancing Queen" is a song from ABBA's fourth studio album "Arrival", and was released as the album's lead single in August 1976. It became a huge worldwide hit for the Swedish group - it topped the charts in over a dozen countries, and became their only song to top the charts in the US! Written by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Stig Anderson, the song was praised for its complex harmonic patterns, sophisticated melody, and dynamics of the layered vocals. One of the greatest Europop songs ever written, "Dancing Queen" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2015.
