Questions in spectral geometry – that is, the study of the interplay between the underlying geometry on which a problem is posed and the behaviour of spectral quantities such as eigenvalues or eigenfunctions – are generally divided in two large families, depending on whether the spectral quantities are studied in the high-energy (large spectral parameter) or low-energy (small spectral parameter) regime. This workshop will focus on recent breakthrough and exciting new directions in the fast-evolving area of high-energy spectral theory, looking at it from a broad range of perspectives. This will ensure that participants with different backgrounds can engage in meaningful discussions, fostering the cross-fertilization of ideas and facilitating new collaborations. 🔗 Find out more: https://www.newton.ac.uk/event/gstw01/ ------------------- FOLLOW US 🌐| Website: https://www.newton.ac.uk 🎥| Main Channel: / @isaacnewtoninstitute 🐦| Twitter: / newtoninstitute 💬| Facebook: / newton.institute 📷| Instagram: / isaacnewtoninstitute 🔗| LinkedIn: / isaac-newton-institute-for-mathematical-sc...
