April Update on My Garden Seeds I Started Indoors!

Today I'm giving an update on my flowers and garden seeds I originally planted on February 21st. Many didn't even come up and many plants died so I restarted some recently. I used Miracle Grow seed starting mix originally and do not recommend it as almost every tray I used it in didn't even sprout. So I ended up using Pro Mix potting soil and have been having better success. I threw out all of my 1" starter trays as they had about a 2 percent success rate. Very disappointed with them. I will never use them again. I used Schultz liquid fertilizer a few times in the past month to help my tomato plants along and that seems to have helped a bit. We are still a month away from putting anything in the ground here in Zone 3 Leduc County, Alberta 🇨🇦 I typically plant my vegetable garden after the full moon which falls on May 12th year. The frost is still coming out of the soil here and although most of my flower beds are diggable right now, you can feel frozen ground under about a foot of the soil. I will do another video update prior to transplanting next month so you can see what grew and where how everything is doing.
