Safe Landing are advocating for a sector-wide Aviation Workers’ Assembly to empower workers to develop an independent vision for the future of air travel. This would enable aviation workers to navigate a secure future for their careers, in line with current climate science. The industry is planning to more than double global air traffic by 2040. This is likely to fly us towards a major industry crash. Do you agree? In any case, do you think aviation workers should be at the controls when navigating a sustainable future for our industry? Or should we leave it all 'to the men in grey suits'? This talk covers: What is a "Workers Assembly"? How would participants be selected? What question/s would they answer? How would the process work? Where would recommendations go?
