Trump's first impeachment - 2020 Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., argued for an amendment to the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, and then said that there's a "big, throbbing sore tore inside of a shoe that's too small," referring to the following question: "Is it ever okay for a president of the United States of America to invite foreign interference in an upcoming presidential election campaign?" Johnson asked. He then stayed silent for about 15 seconds, apparently waiting for a response from his GOP colleagues. "The silence was, and is, deafening," he then said. Johnson also said it wasn't "proper" for Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., to bring up Hunter Biden's history of drug use just moments before. The House Judiciary Committee on Dec. 12 considered revisions to the articles of impeachment and voted on whether to send those articles to the full U.S. House of Representatives. Democrats on Tuesday filed two articles of impeachment against Trump -- abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
