The Ore: We mined 361 pounds of ore, including Galena that carry the highest gold values. We even found beautiful bonanza grade ore and made some beautiful slabs and specimens 💥 Smelting the High-Grade Challenge We ran the ore through the full 1 TPH Turnkey System, concentrated it on the Shaker Table, and then attempted to smelt the resulting concentrates. This high-grade material proved difficult: We used Iron Desulfurization and Bismuth Oxide as a collector to overcome the heavy sulfides. The final button required extensive refining to deal with trace tellurium contamination, but we successfully produced two incredibly dense gold/silver buttons! 🏆 The Final Grade Calculation After weighing the final buttons and accounting for the original ore mass, the results are in! We calculated the gold grade of the Golden Griffin vein at an astonishing 2.83 Troy Ounces Per Ton (OZ/TON)! This is a winner!
