It begins. Time to embrace infinity. Endless mode only ends when you die. Random specimens can chase at any time with a new one being added to the possible chase pool within every 100 rooms. You can be chased by up to a maximum of 5 specimens at once and sometimes even multiple of the same specimen. It's very RNG if a brutal specimen combo or a cruel room combination will end you, so luck is definitely a huge factor. By about room 2200, Endless mode is as dangerous as can be since everything will be in the possible chase pool. Specimen 1 (Jumpscare cutouts) can harmlessly appear at any time & Specimen 2 (Goo guy) is in the "pool" by default as far as I know. There is also Steam leaderboards.
