Peaky Peak Trek | Day 1: Kathmandu to Dhap Bazar Our trekking adventure to Peaky Peak began with an exciting road journey! My cousin brother and I started our trip on a scooter from Kalanki at 7:00 AM. We followed the Araniko Highway from Koteshwar to Dhulikhel before switching to the BP Highways Journey Highlights: 🛣️ Breakfast at Bhakundebesi – A quick break to fuel up before continuing the ride. 🔄 Driver Swap – After an hour, we exchanged driving responsibilities. 🏞️ Roshi Rural Municipality – Following the flow of the Roshi Khola, we encountered rough roads due to last year’s Roshi flood. 🌊 Meeting of Rivers – At Napathok, the Roshi Khola meets the Sunkoshi River, marking a scenic transition in our journey. 🚗 Sinduli Highway Views – Riding along the Sunkoshi River, we passed through Bhakundebesi, Mulkot, Benighat, and Khurkot before crossing the Khurkot Bridge. 🛤️ Pushpalal Highway – Turning left at Khurkot, we continued on this highway through Haiber Bashi, Murki Bashi, and Ghurmi. 🌅 Reaching Ghurmi at 3:14 PM – We crossed the Sunkoshi River here. 🏍️ Siddhicharan Highway – Riding through beautiful landscapes, including Thakle Gaun, Mane Bhanjyang Rural Municipality, and Gurung Danda. 🌆 Sunset in Okhaldhunga (5:30 PM) – A breathtaking view before our final stretch to Dhap Bazar. 🏕️ Arrival at Dhap Bazar (7:00 PM) – We settled in for the night, preparing for the real trekking adventure starting tomorrow Stay tuned for Day 2 as we begin our trek deeper into the Himalayas!
