The Bite control is more than just a Tone and can range from sizzling and aggressive to warm and bluesy without any muddiness. El Hombre’s Gain structure is influenced not only by the player’s touch but by this Bite control, providing sag that’s reminiscent of a plexi stack when both controls are increased or tones that mellow down easy in their lower settings. The pedal’s high output also allows you to simply push your amp into overdrive, making this pedal adept at so many applications beyond the Blues.
