Select your AO location, the factions you want to use and your platoon makeup or leave them all randomized and see what mission you are sent on. The sister mission to Dynamic Recon Ops, DCO is intended to take the design philosophy behind that mission and expand it to cover the full range of combined arms scenarios. With a better-equipped enemy force and a larger number of objectives to tackle, selecting and utilizing your platoon as a commander may be the key to victory. However, if you prefer to be a cog in the war machine rather than taking a command role, your platoon has support menu options allowing you to call them into battle and let them proceed from sector to sector autonomously. As with DRO, DCO is designed to be simple to use but with plenty of options to customize your mission setup. The objective behind DCO is to create a way to quickly get playing a new scenario in singleplayer or co-op and has been designed from the ground up to take advantage of faction mods. If you have any mods that create new factions they will be selectable as player or enemy sides within the mission. However, the scenario itself requires no mods apart from specific terrains if you want to use them.
