Join us today to learn about the Druid Hill Park Superintendent’s House built in 1872! By the late 1980s, the house was vacant, damaged by fire and covered in poison ivy. Luckily, in 2007, the Parks & People Foundation started beautifully restoring the building and transforming the land around it into a bucolic campus, today its headquarters. We are delighted to joined by Frank Lance, CEO & President of Parks & People, to show us how this foundation makes green space accessible to all Baltimoreans. This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." We record short videos about different historic places all over Baltimore and post them on our Facebook page, YouTube channel, and website.
