Well, fortunately, I don't think our home ever completely lost power from Hurricane Sandy. We had a couple of light flickers, but that was it, so we were pretty lucky. Okay, in contrast to my Lunatic run with Sanae B, Sanae C took way fewer tries (just a few stage 1 restarts and that was it), and was faster and more fun. I still had some stupid deaths, such as a really dumb one at the beginning of stage 2, but overall I did much better. (A dumb death early in stage 2 like that would normally be grounds for restarting in most Touhou games, but I'm inconsistent at capturing all three of stage 1's spell cards on Lunatic for some reason, and I really didn't feel like repeating them, so I kept going. However, if I had stupidly died a second time early in stage 2, I certainly would've restarted.) Towards the end, I captured the stage 5 boss's survival spell like I normally do (it usually stresses me out, but I often manage to capture it anyway, like here). Then in stage 6, I ended up bombing through the first midboss spell, partially because it's stupid how the midboss's invincibility works-- Only Sanae A can do any reasonable damage to her no matter where she is, and Sanae A is the only one I've captured that spell with. (On the other hand, the Lunatic stage 6 midboss spells exclusive to Reimu and Marisa are much better for me to deal with, and I can fairly easily capture those with any of their shot types.) I got unlucky with a few of the final boss's spells, but the very last spell went down handily in just a few seconds (I love doing that with Sanae C)! Oh, Sanae B, I know you're no Sanae C, but why couldn't you have been at least reasonably powerful enough to avoid running out of time on the final spell? So, in the end, I easily finish Lunatic with several lives in reserve with Sanae C, despite making some obvious mistakes along the way. Feel free to comment, but just know that I dislike profanity.
