Absurdly Overdone Heathkit C-3 Rebuild

Much, much more than your quickie recap. Spent nearly $0 on this one, so way overspent on rebuilding it! This C-3 was purchased for next to nothing at an ARRL tag sale in Newington CT. I really don't need it for any kind of production use. Nor do most working EEs. We're not in the 1950s anymore! For resistor measurement, any DMM wil do For capacitor measurement, any DMM ~$50+ will do. Note I said "resistor" and "capacitor" and not resistance or capacitance, as the C-3 cannot be used in-circuit. For capacitor leakage, any 0-400VDC supply plus a current limiting resistor and a microammeter (ie. ~$100+ DMM) will work. I use the Heathkit IP-17 H.V. supply. But of course, in reality I only evaluate leakage for fun, what at work, I don't waste time, so simply replace old electrolytics and papers/waxies/etc and be done with them,.
