FP-Corsair H100i Repair

My Corsair H100i just randomly stopped working for me about 8 months ago. So I replaced it with a custom system. Just recently I pulled it it and decided to see what was wrong with it. Well, after taking it apart I found a bunch of this white crusty stuff all inside and it deposited itself on the contact plate's fins. I tried my best to get it all off but those fins are fragil. After that I dug deeper into the pump and tried to spin the pump head with my had and it wouldn't budge. The white crusty stuff built up all under the pump head and seized it. So I took the pump apart and cleaned it. Well in the process I didn't notice how short the wiring was to the PCB and I ripped the wiring out. The wiring was too short to easily fix it so I stripped some speaker wire apart and threaded the wire so that it would be a tick enough to not wory about and resistance issues. It was complicated and the solder wasn't sticking to the wires like I wanted and it ended up just being a big mess. After I was confident and just wishing for luck I put it all back together and filled it with distilled water. I just threw an extra SATA cable into my computer and powered the cooler up and it worked. THat was one of the most relieving feelings I think I have ever had in my life. After the huge mess I made I actually fixed the thing.
