Under the hood of the test unit was a 2.0 Skyactiv-X 186 hp gasoline engine, which Mazda sees as a revolution. This is because we are supposed to be dealing here with a combination of the advantages of gasoline and diesel units, and Skyactiv-X is supposed to draw the best features from both types of propulsion. How does it perform in practice? I had the opportunity to find out, having driven several hundred kilometers in a 2023 Mazda 3 hatchback. My opinions about this engine are presented in a video test.
