She also has lived experience caring for her terminally ill partner. Whilst dealing with her grief, Lyndey has focussed on raising blood cancer awareness through her role as a highly valued Leukaemia Foundation Ambassador. Her passion for food has led her to create recipes through her platform, ‘Comfort Food for Grief’, which includes ideas for foods that provide comfort during difficult times. Lyndey’s goal is for people to experience meaningful connection, nourishment, and inspiration through food and culture. Lauren Atkins Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist | Co-Founder & Co-Director, On-Core Nutrition Lauren has over 15 years’ experience managing all cancers across adult and paediatric groups at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne & Epworth Freemasons. Her practice focuses on using food knowledge, nutrients, and eating patterns to prevent, manage, and recover from cancer and other health conditions. Lauren is passionate about cancer care, mental health, preventative nutrition and empowering clients with strategies to improve their health, body composition, and relationship with food.
