CROSSWIND LANDINGS during a STORM at Maastricht - Boeing 777, Airbus A350, A310 (4K)

Crosswind landings during storm Hendrik at Maastricht Airport yesterday. Although just a few planes were moving at Maastricht yesterday I decided to film at this airport instead of Düsseldorf this time to get some diversity. The traffic was quite interesting. An Ethiopian Airbus A350 arrived at Maastricht on a cargo flight from Addis Abeba. I was quite afraid it wouldn` t land because the airplane was flying several holdings before approaching runway 21. As you can see the weather was horrible when the A350 landed and the crew decided to fly a few extra holding to wait for better weather. Two minutes earlier I didn` t see the runway because of a severe rain shower. Royal Jordanian Cargo still operates its veteran Airbus A310F. JY-AGQ was built 34 years ago and back in 2005 when I started planespotting this aircraft was the first A310 I have seen. Can` t believe this aircraft is still going strong in 2021. They operate between Amman and Maastricht almost daily. JY-AGQ almost got replaced by an Airbus A330 Freighter three years ago, but due to unknown reasons they rejected the A330F. Now the A310F is still going strong although it`s out of service quite often. The Emirates Boeing 777-300 departed to Rickenbacker. Currently lots of passenger airplanes are flying as Cargo planes.
