What is the purpose of this keyhole? This is a question I found myself asking, and almost immediately answering by pondering the legendary Stop N Swop feature, once planned by Rare developers, but scrapped by Nitnendo after the publication of Banjo Kazooie. This thought sent me down a rabbit hole, investigating the integration of Stop N Swop in various Nintendo 64 video games developed by rare, and interacting with numerous others who have also investigated these strange mysteries.
